Le Nemesiache
Le Nemesiache is a pioneering Italian feminist performance and film collective that emerged in the 1970s in Naples. Their films Antistrip (1976) and Le Sibylle (1978), presented in the "moving in riot" tribute at Biennale 9, constitute a revolutionary body of work that radically employs play, ritual, memory, and art as tools of feminist transformation and collective liberation.
