Ben Russell is an American experimental filmmaker and video artist whose work examines perception, consciousness, and the limits of documentary form. He collaborated with Ben Rivers on The Rare Event (2017), a study on the illusory condition of a philosophical round table whose members reflect on the possibilities of Resistance, presented in the "moving in riot" tribute at Biennale 9.
